2026 Workshops overview

This is an overview listing of the scheduled 2026 workshops. All classes will be held at the Gibsons Curling Club in upper Gibsons. All 2026 workshops will be 4 days in length, Monday-Thursday (except Marleen Vermeulen’s 5-day workshop). Classes run from 9am to 4pm daily, except for the first day of the workshop when class starts at 8:30am. The individual workshop pages provide more detailed information about each workshop and its instructor and are accessed by the ‘Details’ buttons under each course description below.

The fees for each class (both the early bird rate through February 28th and the regular rate from March 1st onward) are listed by instructor. Complete information about registration is on the Registration page.

NOTE: The Gibsons School of the Arts is now required to collect GST this year and in the future. The posted 2026 registration fees include GST. Our GST Registration Number is 75532 1239 RT0001.

Title: Getting Lost to Paint with Confidence

NOTE: This workshop is conceived for oil painters; However, acrylic artists who are comfortable with the use of retarders and heavy body mediums are welcome to attend.
