Take a good shot at augmenting your artistic abilities with the great group of instructors offered at the 2012 Summer Workshops at the School of the Arts in Gibsons. You will see from the list of classes that we have again found a wide variety of learned artists to guide you to improve your painting techniques.

The summer classes will again be held in the Arts Building on South Fletcher Road in Gibsons Landing with views over the harbour to the Mountains of the North Shore. Students are invited to gather at the Arts Building, 464 South Fletcher Road at 7:00 pm on the Sunday evening previous to their class. At this time they can bring their materials for the class and choose their seating. They will be car-pooled to an evening reception to meet the instructor and classmates to avoid that Monday morning strangeness.

Brochures for the Summer Workshops are available for download, by request through the mail or at selected sites on the Sunshine Coast and in art supply centres throughout B.C. The School of the Arts tries to streamline the registration for classes to ensure fairness to all registering for the workshops.
